The Galaxy S22 series, which includes the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, is the most recent addition to the Android smartphone family. They were unveiled alongside Samsung's new tablet, the Galaxy Tab S8, during the company's February Unpacked event. There are a lot of distinctions between the three, yet they all have one thing in common: Android 12 Operating system is installed on all three smartphones.
Android 12 is Google's newest mobile operating system . Although it resembles Android 11 in a lot of ways, it includes new bells and whistles and performance improvements so that your mobile device runs as glitch-free as possible. The update originally appeared on Google's Pixel phones. It also was spotted on the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, before spreading to other Android devices.
Although not every Android phone has joined the band wagon yet, there are a plethora of new features that will entice users to switch to Android 11. If you can't wait for Google's brand new operating system to arrive on your smartphone, you can now download and install the Android 12 developer preview. However, keep in mind that you won't want to use the development preview on your primary device. It's likely to have a few flaws.

In comparison to Android 11, these are three of the most significant new features we've seen so far in Android 12 Operating system.
Apps with privacy features
To provide you more transparency and control, Google is adding many new privacy features to its apps. An icon on your phone's status bar now lets you know when an app is using your camera or microphone. In Quick Settings, you may also totally restrict/disable any apps' access to your camera or microphone. Android 12 now gives you the option of sharing apps your estimated location instead of your precise position, allowing you to keep your exact location private.
One Android 12 update, as per an Android Developers blog post, provides you more info about how cookies can be used in sites, while another alters how apps export data to prevent them from accidentally or involuntarily exporting receivers, activities and services, .
These policies are less stringent than those in Apple's iOS 14 software releases, which feature new app "nutrition labels" that inform users what personal information their apps are collecting, as well as a change in iOS 14.5 that mandates developers to ask users for permission to collect data and track them across websites and apps. (Apple's iOS 15 release also includes even more privacy protections.)
Notifications have been updated
With Android 12, Google is revamping the notification style to make it more modern and useful. Instead of going through an intermediary provider to initiate an action, tapping on a notice will lead you straight to the app or action you wish to take. As per the Android Developers post available on their blog, this should help things operate faster.
A new button in Android 12 allows you to snooze unimportant alerts for a certain amount of time. You may also enable adaptive notifications ranking, which facilitates Android to reorder your alerts depending on how you use different apps, and you can change the ranking if you don't prefer it.
One-handed mode is now available
A few design tweaks in Android 12 make it easier to manage Android phones with just one hand together with your thumb. The updated settings UI drops the Search bar to the lower end of the display for easy one-handed access, as per XDA Developers. It also disclosed a brand new feature called as "silky home," which allows the whole interface a lot easier to operate with just one hand.
